Barn Cottage is located on Bibaloe Beg Farm on the outskirts of Onchan Village (approximately 1.5 miles from the Village centre).
There is a bus stop at the end of Bibaloe Beg Road (approximately 0.25 miles) with buses stopping both sides of the road to take guests to either the north of the Island (Laxey and Ramsey) or into Douglas town centre.
At the other end of Bibaloe Beg Road guests can catch one of the historic electric trams (May to October only) to either the north (Laxey and Ramsey) or to Douglas Promenade where guests can then link up with a Horse Tram to take them along the length of the Promenade ceasing at the Ferry Terminal. Bus and tram timetables are located in the Cottage.

Approximately one mile from the end of Bibaloe Beg Road (turn right) on the main Douglas to Laxey Road is the Liverpool Arms public house which provides excellent quality good value bar meals during the day and evening.
Prior to reaching the Liverpool Arms, approximately half a mile from the end of Bibaloe Beg Road is ‘Laser Blast’ an indoor laser game providing much fun for both adults and children alike. For smaller guests (aged 10 and under) the ‘Fun Barn’ offers a great indoor play area where parents can relax with a coffee while their children play in safety.
The village of Onchan houses a number of shops on the main road including a Co-op supermarket (with ATM outside), post office, newsagents, Bank and petrol station. A larger supermarket (Shoprite) is located just off Main Road.
The main shopping area for the Island is located in Douglas where guests will find familiar names such as Marks and Spencer, Tesco, Boots, Motercare etc., as well as fashion outlets such as Monsoon, Next, River Island and Wallis.
