Barn Cottage is a charming four star (Gold award) Manx barn converted for holiday accommodation in 2007. The early Victorian barns have been refurbished to a high standard meeting the expectations of 21st century self-catering holidays.
The holiday cottage is on a farm in a beautiful rural location on the outskirts of the village of Onchan on the Isle of Man. However, whilst being rural it is only some four miles from Douglas, the Isle of Man’s capital and boasts spectacular views across both Onchan village and Douglas bay.
 Barn Cottage has been tastefully furnished with two double bedrooms upstairs (both en-suite) and one single bedroom downstairs with a wet room leading off.
Fronting the Cottage is a large private courtyard with ample parking for guests. To the rear of the Cottage, French doors lead onto a private decked area where guests can relax whilst taking in the stunning views.
 During June and July the owners who live in the adjoining Barn, operate a pick-your-own-fruit farm in the field fronting the Barns where strawberries, gooseberries, raspberries and other fruits as well as new potatoes can all be picked fresh from the field.
The Isle of Man has much to offer the discerning traveller with beautiful glens providing some stunning walks as well as fishing, golf, local museums and heritage sites dotted around the Island. An information folder is provided in the cottage covering these and any other activities which may be of interest to guests.
